Upgrading MCDST to MCITP Enterprise Support

Microsoft Certified IT Professional: Enterprise Support Technician (MCITP: Enterprise Support Technician) credential validates the knowledge and skills required to deploy and support the Windows Vista operating system. Our upgrade courseware for the MCITP: Enterprise Support Technician will arm students with knowledge on deploying, managing security, and troubleshooting network issues on the new Windows Vista Operating System.

Our 70-621 class teaches MCSDT students how to install, upgrade and configure the Windows Vista operating system as well as how to support end-users with network connectivity, security, application installation, and compatibility issues and logon problems.  It also teaches how to identify technical problems that can occur in an organization's client computers. The course will focus on five main troubleshooting areas: operating system, hardware, networking, security, and applications. 

This course is relevant for individuals currently holding the MCDST certification.  When you pass Exam 70-621 UPG: Upgrading Your MCDST Certification to MCITP Enterprise Support, you complete the requirements for the following certifications:

Exam 70-621: PRO: Upgrading Your MCDST Certification to MCITP Enterprise Support is intended for IT professionals who hold a Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) certification and work in an upper-midsize organization or enterprise environment that uses Windows Vista. They have experience with earlier versions of the Windows operating system, and they might have experience with Windows Server operating systems.

Candidates have experience deploying Windows Vista, managing security, and troubleshooting network-related issues with Windows Vista. Candidates typically have at least three to five years of experience as a Tier 2-level or Lead Desktop Support Technician.
